COVID-19 EMERGENCY RESPONSE
Thank you to our amazing sponsors:

The 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic is an ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. The outbreak was first identified in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak to be a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on 30 January 2020 and recognized it as a pandemic in March 2020. As of April 2020, more than 981,000 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in over 180 countries, resulting in over 50,200 deaths. Thousands of families experience great need, as many business' have had to close their doors to stop the spread of the virus. Employees have been laid off or furloughed without pay, creating desperation in homes across the country.
Headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, we are holding weekly drive-through grocery distributions for families in great need. Each family food pack contains enough groceries for a family of 5-6 people. As of January 2021, we have distributed over 17 MILLION MEALS to people in need of food, supplies, etc.
We also distributed dinners to Medical Professionals and their families throughout Tulsa & surrounding communities. We partnered with the McNellie's Restaurant Group & many others to provide delicious FREE family dinners (enough food for a family of 5-6 people) for medical staff working directly with COVID-19 patients. Through the sponsorship of incredible business's around Tulsa, these family dinners are delivered onsite each day to many hospitals & clinics for medical professionals to pickup and take home as they end their shift. Over the course of 2 months, we were able to provide 34,000 Medical Professional meals across our communities.
We have also been able to acquire and distribute 3,600 kids backpacks filled with school supplies to so many families in need across Tulsa, Bixby, Broken Arrow, & Norman communities going back to school. Thanks to all of our incredible partners that made it possible to bless thousands of students. With most schools holding virtual classes, kids need an outlet to enjoy outside, be healthy, and burn off energy for their physical and emotional health during this “new normal”. And we are actively helping families in need RIGHT NOW!
We are also coordinating hundreds of truckloads of foodboxes across the U.S., as part of the USDA "Farmers To Families Foodbox Initiative". “The Farmers to Families Food Box Program was designed to put American farmers and distributors of all sizes back to work while supporting over-burdened food banks, community and faith-based organizations, and other non-profits serving Americans in need, and the program is doing just that,” said Secretary Perdue. “It’s encouraging to see the passion with which farmers, distributors and non-profits have gone above and beyond to make this program work in support of the American people. Although a momentous milestone, this is only the beginning for the program, and with continued support we expect up to 40 million boxes will be delivered throughout the country." We are coordinating truckloads of fresh produce, fresh fruit, dairy items, and meats across the Southwestern Region (SWRO) & the Mountain Plains (MPRO).
